Easiest Ever Quickie Meal: Franks Red Hot Buffalo Tenders

This is one of my favorite go-to dishes because it’s super easy, filled with flavor, low-fat, low-calorie, hot & spicy and budget friendly. It’s pan-poached chicken tenderloins with Franks. That’s it. Top it with some cold avocado to cut the spice, add some creaminess, and you’re good. If you want, toss them in a taco, atop a salad, or with a side of steamed veggies. It’s such a simple and tasty base meal that I eat probably way too often… hey, it’s easy and tasty. I like it that way! ;)

Foods That Drive People Insane (seriously hysterical)

Some of your favorite, calorie-exploding, sugar-dense, heart-attack-waiting to happen foods can make you feel horrible. Guilt. Remorse. Self-disgust. These are all feelings that can occur when you give in and amble over to the cupcake store down the street to buy a 4-pack, for yourself…the point is, there are enough bad emotions that come with junk foods. But did you know that there are foods that can actually drive you insane? Regardless of your own feelings or mentality about that pastry, it could have powers of its own to drive you up the wall. Here are some foods that might land you on the treadmill…in the psych ward!

Green Fry: Spinach, Brussels Sprouts, Yam, Green Garlic, Rotisserie Chicken

Just to clarify, a green fry has nothing to do with frying food. Instead, it is a combo of anything healthy and green in your fridge that you throw into a pan and cook into one of the easiest, healthiest dishes you can make. Plus, you are cleaning out your fridge so that those veggies that you bought last weekend don’t go to waste. And here’s the best thing, your meal is a total Bites with Benefits meal and you’re only consuming about 40 calories per cup! Yes… that’s it!
