7 Foods to Spread on Your Face

You don’t have to actually go to a spa to attain the benefits of spa’ing. In fact, all you have to do is light a candle in your bathroom, pull a few products from your refrigerator and medicine cabinet, snip an herb or two from your garden and, voila- spa! Not in need of setting the mood? That’s fine too. These ingredients can seriously transform your skin, leaving it glowing, radiant, and revitalized!

A few of my favorite 1-Ingredient Refrigerator Facials are:
*Potato (the potassium minimizes dark circles)- puree it and place it under your eyes
*Full fat plain Greek yogurt(firms/moisturizes)- smear it all over your face, leave on for 5 minutes (ADD ORANGE TO UP THE EFFECTS!) WATCH the Orange Yogurt Swirl Facial video here…
*Honey (exfoliant/cleanser)- smear it all over your face, leave on for 5 minutes
*Tomato (anti-aging and antioxidant)- squeeze a small amount of juice out. Brush it on your face. Leave on for 5 minutes. Wash off
*Lemon (skin lightener/ balances hyper-pigmentation)- mix a SMALL amount of juice with face wash. Apply to skin. Leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse. OR apply a small amount of juice directly to dark age spots. Leave on.
(OR combine the Tomato & Lemon for a SALSA FACIAL!)
*Milk (moisturizing/exfoliating)- use it to wash your face or soak in it in the tub. WATCH the Milk Bath video here
