Easiest Ever Quickie Meal: Franks Red Hot Buffalo Tenders

This is one of my favorite go-to dishes because it’s super easy, filled with flavor, low-fat, low-calorie, hot & spicy and budget friendly. It’s pan-poached chicken tenderloins with Franks. That’s it. Top it with some cold avocado to cut the spice, add some creaminess, and you’re good. If you want, toss them in a taco, atop a salad, or with a side of steamed veggies. It’s such a simple and tasty base meal that I eat probably way too often… hey, it’s easy and tasty. I like it that way! ;)

-Frozen Chicken Tenderloins (however many you want to prepare… I like to make extra to put in the fridge for quickie meals later)
-Fresh Chicken Breast (fresh honestly give better texture. Frozen is an odd combo of kind of stringy and rubbery- but either are great and I honestly usually use frozen because it’s easier).
-Franks Red Hot Sauce (or whatever your fave hot sauce is)
-Other Additions (if you’d like): Avocado, Salad, Steamed, Amy’s low-sodium Chunky Tomato Soup, or Grilled Veggies


Bring just enough water cover the chicken to a boil. Add chicken and simmer, covered, 12 minutes, or until just cooked through. Add Franks- a couple of tablespoons. Let it thinly cover the chicken. Serve or put in the fridge for later.
