Motion Sickness

I know eating might sound like the last thing you want to do when experiencing motion sickness. But I am not talking about the usual fast food you tend to grab on long trips. There are actually some healthy snacks to soothe the symptoms of motion sickness.

Prevent Nausea

 Fortify your nerves. Magnesium is known to strengthen the nerves, making you less likely to get nauseous. Try any of these magnesium-filled foods one hour before the trip:

Pumpkin Seeds

Spinach

Swiss Chard

Soy Beans

Salmon

Sunflower Seeds

Halibut

Black Beans

Relieve Nausea

Vitamin B6 is known to relieve nausea. Here are some other pre-trip snacks to consider. Try them an hour before travel:

Turkey

Red and Green Pepper

Hazel Nuts

Peanuts

Cashew Nuts

Potato

Chicken

Beef

Wheat Germ

Wheat Bran

Bacon
